"We were very impressed with the location, and equally with the quality of the fitout and furnishings, considering the price was so cheap! We were also able to check in early which was a great bonus considering the long flight time from Australia - so the staff we very accomodating!"

"We especially enjoyed the refreshment room down the hall where we could make ourselves cappuccinos, tea, and hot chocolate anytime. If we had stayed longer we might have also used the business center."

"My room was located on the fourth floor and backed on to an alley which was very noisy around 5am when the thrash was collected. Overall though the hotel was nice and in a good location for theatre and the shopping district. Wireless access is offered in the lobby for a daily fee but the lobby is really small with just two chairs so it isn't really a place you can relax and do email. There are computer terminals located on each floor but if you want to connect up your laptop the only option is via dialup in your room. This hotel would really benefit from highspeed access in your room to which you could connect your laptop up to."

Each newly renovated room is contemporary designed with cobalt carpeting, sculptured steel headboard fashioned after waves, in-room CD players, two touch-tone telephones with global Internet data-ports, fax machine and voicemail, televisions with VCR's, Nintendo, and pay-per-view movies, honor bar showcasing San Francisco specialty items, twice daily maid service with turn down and complimentary newspaper.

There is an in-house California Pizza Kitchen for inside dining and room service and Starbucks adjacent to the lobby. The hotel also offers same day laundry and dry cleaning, valet parking with in and out privileges, complimentary cardio workout room, a video library showcasing newly relased films, as well as a concierge lounge with magazines, San Francisco literature, tour brochures, Granny Smith green apples, and gourmet coffee.

There is also a complimentary, fully-equipped business center in the hotel with wireless high-speed Internet access.
